Our History

A landmark in the Salt Lake Valley, the Tennis Club is centrally located among the Sugar House, Foothill and Millcreek communities. A leader in the history of swimming and tennis, we continue to be recognized as an outstanding organization and facility. Historically, we have always been a leader in our industry and continue to be recognized as an extraordinary facility and organization in our region. Unique among other local fitness clubs, we are a 501c3 non profit organization. We are a member owned equity club.

Our Core Values

The Club as a source for excellent instruction for all ages and abilities, and is known as the place to recieve top-level instruction.

The Club as a place that encourages and supports swimming and tennis as lifetime activities and provides opportunities to participate in these sports throughout generations of members.

The Club as a place that values and respects the equity member.

The Club recruits and maintains a loyal workforce (pros, maintenance, etc.) and a good environment for employees.

The Club is 'membership driven' with the understanding that it is the Board's responsibility to provide conservative stewardship of resources and allocate resources to those areas identified by the membership as most in need of investment.
